Products
ITAC develops and commercializes advanced technology products
developed under research and development programs. ITAC's products
and services can be customized to meet the specific needs of the
government and commercial customers.
ITAC also offers licensees for the use of technology and products
for markets outside ITAC's business domains. We invite you to
explore our research and publications page to learn more about our
technical capabilities and achievements. For product information,

Examples of ITAC's customizable products include:
Malley Probe (Optical Sensor)
ITAC's Malley probe, developed and patented in
collaboration with University of Notre Dame, is a new
type of aero-optic sensor specifically designed for
high-frequency off-body flowfield measurements. It
provides time-resolved velocity and air property
information of the flowfield using measurements of light
distortions transmitted through the flowfield of
interest. It is non-intrusive, and high-bandwidth
capable.
The reference below provide an example of our prior
Malley probe work.

Compressible, Subsonic Turbulent Boundary Layers,”

Powered
Resonance Tube (Active Flow Control Actuator)
Powered Resonance Tube (PRT) is a device which converts
steady high-pressure air source into an unsteady signal of
pressure (acoustic) wave that can be used as an actuator for
flow control. ITAC has developed several versions of
high-bandwidth PRT actuators for flow control applications
including Helmholtz PRT and Ultrasonic PRT actuators.
The references below provide an example of our prior PRT
work.

Parameter Space,” AIAA-2003-3103.
Optical
Propagation Improvement System (OPIS)
ITAC's OPIS is a system specifically designed to reduce
degradation of a laser beam propagating through optical
disturbance. The system uses natural flow resonance for a
feed-forward adaptive optic correction of the laser beam
propagation. The natural resonance of a special-geometry
cavity was exploited to obtain clear Rossiter tones.
The reference below provide an example of our prior OPIS
work.

and the Importance of Aeroacoustics,” AIAA-2008-4212.
